Install and run a sample
- Back up the original skill folder. Replace only its
SKILL.mdwith your download. Keep scripts, references, assets, and the license. - Place the complete folder in your project at
.agents/skills//SKILL.md. Follow the author’s setup steps for any plugins or tools. - Open Codex in that project. Start a new session, paste the trial prompt, and review the result.
This tool checks the file name, required fields, and size. It does not fully validate YAML or test how well the skill works. Try the sample before using it for real work.
