It briefs you every morning, works on its own computer in the cloud with the apps you connect to your Claude account, and keeps your history in one thread. It asks before sensitive operations such as sending messages or paying.

Duet works on its own computer in the cloud with the apps you connect, such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive and Slack, and returns finished work like a doc, sheet or deck for your review.

We have not run these setups ourselves. Recipes are written from public Claude Duet documentation, and their examples are illustrative.

Claude Duet is a research preview on a waitlist for Claude Pro and Max subscribers in the US. Team and Enterprise plans are not included yet.
During the research preview, Duet shares your plan's usage limits with the rest of Claude, and its background checks count toward those limits.
Duet asks you before sensitive operations such as sending messages or paying. The recipes here also tell it to prepare drafts only, so you send everything yourself.
Duet uses your Claude account, including its memory, skills and connectors. Connect apps such as Gmail or Google Calendar in Claude under Customize, then Connectors.
Anthropic's page describes a brief every morning and check-ins when something needs you, but not custom schedules. The recipes ask Duet to include their result in the morning brief.
