OVERVIEW

About Visualping

Visualping is a website change monitoring service from WebMonitoring Technologies in Vancouver, Canada. You give it pages to watch, such as a competitor's pricing page, a regulator's updates page or a product listing, and choose how often to check them. When a page changes, it sends an alert with a highlighted screenshot, the text that was added or removed, and an AI summary of the change. Every plan also flags whether each change looks important, which helps cut down routine noise.

Visualping only watches and reports. It does not reply to anyone, change your prices or take any other action on what it finds. It watches web pages, so it will not see competitors' ads, emails or anything not shown on a page you add. Start with a handful of pages that matter, then adjust what counts as an important change. Expect some false alarms from pages with rotating content, and open the actual change before acting on a summary.

What the workflow does

  • Page change detection: Checks chosen web pages on a schedule, from hourly on Free to every two minutes on higher plans, comparing the visual page, its text or a selected element.
  • AI change summaries: Every alert includes an AI summary of what changed, on all plans.
  • Important-or-not flag: Flags whether each change looks important, so routine edits can be filtered out.
  • Alerts where you work: Sends alerts by email and webhook on all plans, by SMS from Personal 5K, and to Slack, Microsoft Teams and Google Sheets on Business plans.
  • Actions before each check: Can log in, click or type before checking a page, so pages behind a sign-in can be watched.
  • API and MCP server: Every plan includes API keys and an MCP server, so AI assistants can create and read monitors.

  • Fewer manual visits to pages that rarely change.
  • Change logs sent to Slack, Teams or a spreadsheet for a team to review.
  1. 1

Add a few important pages, select the area to watch and set a check frequency.

Set what counts as an important change and where alerts should go.

  3. 3

Review alerts for a few weeks, open each real change before acting, and adjust or remove noisy monitors.
