The same basic SKILL.md format, with different setup paths and commands. Start with the agent you already use.
Claude Code
- Add to a project
.claude/skills/meeting-recap/SKILL.md- Use directly
/meeting-recap- If it is missing
- Check the folder and SKILL.md filename. Ask Claude “What skills are available?” to check discovery.
Codex
- Add to a project
.agents/skills/meeting-recap/SKILL.md- Use directly
$meeting-recap- If it is missing
- Check the .agents/skills path and SKILL.md filename. Make sure Codex is working in the right project. Restart Codex if the change has not appeared.
Cursor
- Add to a project
.cursor/skills/meeting-recap/SKILL.md- Use directly
/meeting-recap- If it is missing
- Check the folder, SKILL.md filename, name, and description. Look in Customize → Skills after saving.
These paths are for local projects. Check each guide for personal folders and official sources. A shared format does not mean every script or tool works in all three agents.
